For long-term success in recovery, we recommend our 90-day residential program. We also offer 30-day, 60-day and 6-month programs tailored to your specific needs and goals. We incorporate a comprehensive social model, proven clinical techniques, medical care and advanced holistic processes within a 12-step methodology. Our individual program components work together for synergistic healing of mind, body and spirit. We are committed to providing a safe, positive environment where you can address and release emotional issues through holistic therapy and the guidance of qualified counselors. We?ll lead you through the exploration of core values and dreams in workshops and guided journaling. This helps promote understanding of your lifestyle choices, leading to compatible goal setting for a new, sober life that is rich in possibilities. Comprehensive Social Model Program Our comprehensive social model approach emphasizes learning through experience. The goal is to offer structure, guidance, and support in a reality-based environment to prepare you for a smoother transition into the community after treatment. You?ll stay in one of our residential homes located in the upscale beach community of Dana Point, California. We provide you with a comfortable home environment instead of a sterile hospital room because at program?s end, you will likely return to a similar environment. This realistic family setting allows you to practice new social skills among peers in the daily responsibilities of a working household. The 12-step model is an essential component of our comprehensive social model and widely recognized as the most successful basis for recovery in the treatment community. Daily 12-step meetings are required and we encourage involvement in related activities. This allows you to build fellowship and share experience, strength and hope with others in the local recovery community. Crystal Cove Recovery also recognizes the importance of learning how to have fun in sobriety. Recreational activities indigenous to the southern California lifestyle, such as studio-tapings of reality-based shows like ?Dancing with the Stars? or fishing for Albacore tuna, reveal that fun in sobriety is not only possible, it's necessary for you to have a full life. We?ll show you how to live sober. Clinical and Medical Care The Treatment program utilizes the finest clinical and medical care available. Upon admission, you?ll receive a chemical dependency evaluation. If recommended, you?ll begin treatment with medically supervised detoxification that may also include prescribed medication to ensure a safe withdrawal from alcohol or drugs. Once physically stabilized, you?ll receive a mental health evaluation with our resident clinical psychologist for underlying causes that may contribute to your substance abuse, such as depression or anxiety. Based on the diagnosis, we develop and implement a personalized treatment plan that may include more intensive therapy with our clinical psychologist, as well as prescribed medication for cravings, depression, anxiety or other psychological issues. You?ll also receive extensive one-on-one counseling and group therapy with our qualified addiction counselors. Sessions with marriage and family counselors are available to promote additional healing and understanding among your family members. Holistic Philosophy We view the mind and body as a garden -- organic, alive and continually growing if given the proper care.
